Cookies and privacy
The Meridian is free to read because it shows ads, like the Teuteuf games. The ads come from Snigel, Teuteuf's advertising partner, and Google Analytics counts how the site is read. This page says what that means and where you make your choices.
Your choices
On your first visit, a consent window may ask what you allow. Snigel, its advertising partners and Google Analytics follow the choices you save there, and you can change them at any time.
The ads
Ads appear on the home page and on issue pages, never in our emails. What they may use, such as cookies, depends on the choices you make in the consent window.
What Google Analytics measures
Google Analytics records the pages you open and a few actions on them: opening the menu, sharing an issue, signing up, and following a link to a source or to one of our games. Where the consent window asks for your choice, Google Analytics sets its cookies, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, only if you allow analytics there; otherwise we delete them, and Google only receives a cookieless signal when a page is viewed.
We never send Google your email address, and nothing about ads or measurement runs on the unsubscribe page.
